Ghost of Christmas... Me

Every year, my holiday card is more than just a greeting—it’s a story. This season, I reimagined a timeless tale through a modern, personal lens. Inspired by A Christmas Carol, “Ghosts of Christmas… Me” explores how the past shapes us, the present grounds us, and the future dares us to dream bigger.

The Spark Before the Spirits

Before I became all the ghosts, I had to meet them first. This version of A Christmas Carol starring Kelsey Grammer sparked the concept—dramatic, theatrical, and full of character. Each role helped shape how I brought my own twist to the story... with more glam and a lot more attitude.

Fog of the Setting

Before stepping into character, I stepped into the scene. This old Victorian street image set the tone—moody, muted, and rich with nostalgia. Its colors and atmosphere became the backbone of the project, helping me imagine the world these ghosts would haunt.

Face to Phantom

It all began with a concept and a camera. Each character started as a simple portrait—raw expressions, deliberate lighting, and just enough setup to capture the essence. The real transformation came in post, where digital edits aged Scrooge, intensified the eyes, and shaped the spirits of past, present, and future.

A Whisper of Humbug

A little Easter egg, hidden in plain sight. “Bah humbug” drifts through the candle smoke— not just a nod to Scrooge’s signature mood, but a tribute to the Ghost of Christmas Past, who first appears through a swirl of smoke.

The Ghostly Greeting

From concept to character, inspiration to edit— this is where it all came together. The finished card is more than just a holiday greeting; it’s a visual story told in layers.

From Humbug to Holiday

A peek behind the scenes. In this video, I break down parts of the process, from inspiration to execution—and how one idea turned into four characters and a whole lot of editing.
